Hawaiian Community Assets (HCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that uses homeownership as a tool to build, strengthen, and sustain Hawaiian families and communities for future generations. HCA is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Hawaii's only non-profit mortgage broker. Our lending program is known as Hawai'i Community Lending (HCL). HCA's mission is to increase the capacity of low- and moderate-income communities and individuals in Hawaii to achieve economic self-sufficiency, with a particular focus on Native Hawaiians.
