The contract is in place but needs to be changed. We provide services to assist your organization with review of proposed changes, either internally generated or from the contractor, and negotiation of equitable change orders and modifications to any type of contract. This includes work on constructive change orders / modifications - when the performance or terms of the contract have been changed because of circumstances and/or without official authorization.

Litigation is time consuming and very expensive! Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provides other options to resolve differences and conflicts without engaging legal counsel. Arbitration and mediation are two of the most useful tools to settle problems and achieve a mutually agreeable settlement with the least time and expense. Each Associate assigned to the client for any ADR services will be properly trained and certified as required. Using ADR generally does not preclude either side from advancing their case to court.

This workshop is targeted toward individuals that must either manage a contract process or interface with the contracting authority. Basic contract law terms, concepts, and procedures will be reviewed and discussed. It will discuss the basic elements that must be present for a contract to be formed. The advantages and disadvantages of the different contracting/purchasing methods (bidding, request for proposals, negotiated agreements, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery agreements) will be identified.
