HBK Engineering, LLC offers a wide range of Civil and Environmental Engineering services in addition to underground facility design. Our staff of Professional Engineers and support personnel brings years of prior experience in a variety of fields. We have successfully completed projects in the areas of environmental consulting and remediation, site development, surveying and construction layout, interior communications infrastructure design, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) mapping, including the use of survey-grade Global Positioning Systems (GPS) technology. In mapping and design of underground utility projects within and around the City of Chicago, HBK Engineering is the proven leader. We have been contracted to perform design and mapping of new electrical, telecommunications, and water distribution facilities throughout the metropolitan area. HBK Engineering strictly adheres to the policies and procedures set forth by the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT). Since our founding, we have worked closely with many agencies within CDOT, including the Office of Underground Coordination (OUC), the Bureau of Inspections (BOI), and the Bureau of Bridges and Transit (BOBT).
