Founded in 1954 as a cold forming tooling supplier to local fastener manufacturers, Header Die and Tool has since grown to become a global supplier of cold forming tooling and other specialty manufactured parts. Currently our team is made up of approximately 45 employees with over 300 years of cold forming tooling experience. Over the years we have been established one thing remains constant; our commitment to ensuring that our customers needs remain our top priority .

Since 1954 Header Die and Tool has been producing top quality tooling to meet our customers specific requirements. Today we specialize in both steel and carbide dies, inserts and punches. All of our toolmakers are highly trained and we utilize the latest in machince tool technology which allows us to produce the best possible tooling for our customers.

With over 125 years combined experience, Header Die and Tool, Inc. steel department manufactures the highest quality steel die inserts and steel punches. Our skilled craftsmen machine your parts to print on time, every time. Whether you need assistance choosing the right material for the job, or you need help updating a part to improve productivity, HDT can accommodate you in all aspects of tooling production.

We believe we have a unique ablity to help solve our customers’ tooling problems. This is done by working with our customers and relying on our years of forming tooling knowledge our team members have.

While many manufacturering jobs have left the Stateline, there are some local companies that are acutally looking to hire skilled manufacturing workers. Header Die and Tool is one of them. The President, Lucas Derry, says the company currently has about 40 employees and hopes to increase that number by about 10 percent in the near future.
