Shasha launched his artisan bakery in June 1998 renting bakery facilities. He sold small batches of organic sourdough products and would later develop the renowned heart-shaped ginger snaps. Within eight months, he moved the operation to a 2000-square-metre plant in Etobicoke, Ontario, manufacturing about different kinds of freshly baked products serving customers throughout Canada, the U.S, and international cities.
