Marc Mariani joined HSI in 2011 with 15 years of experience in health care finance. After earning a BA degree in both Finance and Accounting, he started his career as a Financial Analyst for a multi-specialty medical group in Santa Rosa, CA before joining the St. Joseph Health System of Sonoma County in 1997 as a Contract Analyst. In his 10 years with SJHS, Marc developed skills in building pricing models which were used to evaluate the performance of managed care contracts for the five hospitals of the health system in the Northern California Region.

Lois Shelton joined HSI in 2013 as the Director of Human Resources. Lois has over twenty years of operations experience combined with equivalent experience in human resources in a variety of industries, such as airline, newspapers, sales and collections. Her prior positions include Director of Administration at Becoming Independent and Senior Director of Client Operations at Transworld Systems. Lois holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior and a Master of Arts degree in Organization Development..

Gary Rose joined the HSI team as Director of Client Services in 2012. He brings experience in software design and development, billing, and customer service. Before joining HSI, Gary spent 27 years creating and managing his own medical billing business. His experience in customer service, revenue cycle management, and payer relations is ideally suited to assist our clients. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree.
