Description

Healthy Beginnings, organized in 1993, is one of the only non-profit, pro-life, Christian, medical ministries in the entire United States that provides care (medical, spiritual and emotional) to pregnant women regardless of insurance or ability to pay. The majority of Healthy Beginnings patients are referred from one of 18 pregnancy centers in Greater Cincinnati and Dayton. Patients receive early pregnancy care in one of our seven facilities in local communities (Clifton, Western Hills, Over the Rhine, Forest Park, North College Hill, Eastgate, and Northern Kentucky). Services are provided by a generous group of volunteer physicians, nurse-midwives and others, who come alongside our paid staff of 22 to provide necessary medical care for women in need. Healthy Beginnings has also begun helping other communities start similar medical ministries, providing assistance so far to groups in Ohio, Kentucky, New Jersey and Oregon.
