Justin Robinson. - Justin is originally from San Bernardino, California. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Business from California State University San Bernardino and went on to receive a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Justin has worked with teens through a number of sports outreach programs and while earning his master’s degree interning at multiple Christian counseling centers in Fort Worth. Justin’s hobbies include snowboarding, music, art, and playing sports. Justin and his wife Sarah both have a strong desire to develop genuine relationships and walk along side struggling teens while encouraging them in their day-to-day lives to bring about lasting change.

Alison Hill, Receptionist, is from here in Hallsville, TX. Before coming to Heartlight in November of 2005, Alison worked at an optical store in Longview. She and her husband, Michael love working with young people and are active in working with their youth group at their church. Alison has two children, Lindsay and Toby. In her free time, Alison likes working in her yard, walking, camping, and shopping. Alison’s servants’ heart and love for other people make her a joy to be around and excellent at her position at Heartlight.

Justin Arnold, Director of Counseling. Justin originally hails from Jackson, Mississippi. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from Leavell College, and then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling. Justin has a wide range of experience in the counseling setting, and has also been highly involved in ministries ranging from Campus Crusade for Christ at Mississippi State University to student pastor at First Baptist Church in Carthage, MS. When asked what drives his desire to work with kids, Justin says “I love their energy and desire to become more independent. This desire for more independence and the physiological changes that take place make being an adolescent difficult, yet very moldable.” Justin has a genuinely caring heart and a fun-loving personality that allows him to quickly connect with the kids. He and his wife, Lauren, have been blessed with two boys, Andy and Keller. When he is not busy learning how to be a dad, Justin enjoys disc golf, soccer, baseball, traveling, and doing almost anything outside.

The Heartlight campus houses 48 teenagers for 9-12 months at a time. It is dedicated to providing counseling and mentoring to bring about needed behavioral changes for troubled teens from Christian families. Heartlight has helped several thousand of families work through difficult situations with their teenager, and has helped the teenagers themselves have more positive motivations in life than they once had.
