Heat FC was founded in 2003. The Board of Directors of Henderson United Youth Soccer Association (now Southern Nevada Soccer Association) has had from its inception a commitment to excellence in the development of youth soccer players. Heat FC is the result of its determination to provide a full range of playing options for youth players, recreational through the highest competitive levels. Starting its 8th year, Heat FC has become one of the largest competitive clubs in Nevada.

With the economic downturn pushing academic leaders to find new ways to provide high quality courses and programs with shrinking budgets, WICHE's Internet Course Exchange (ICE) stands at the ready to provide cost-effective and innovative solutions.

With a commitment to national training standards and a rigorous training curriculum, Heat FC maintains a coaching staff of both professional trainers and experienced, licensed team coaches. In order to provide the latest and best instruction on cutting-edge techniques and tactics as well as player and team development, all Heat trainers and coaches are expected to acquire and maintain licenses at state and national levels. We encourage our coaches to seek advanced licensure and we provide licensing preparation support.
