In June of 1984, William R. Helms and Randy Roark formed Helms Roark, Incorporated, a real estate development, management and brokerage firm specializing in strip shopping center development in the Southeastern United States. Helms Roark handles all phases of its developments including market research, land acquisition, engineering, architecture, construction, financing and management. Other areas of Helms Roark include the acquisition of commercial properties for national corporate clients. Since its inception, Helms Roark, Incorporated has been involved in the development of over 2,500,000 square feet of shopping center space, having value in excess of $100,000,000, in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Tennessee.
