After working in the high-tech arena for 20 years, Sharon Gibson gave up her executive position at PacBell to pursue her dream of business ownership. With that goal in mind, Sharon went back to school and became a certified massage therapist. That was nearly 20 years ago, and she has no regrets. Sharon has always wanted to help people live a better and more fulfilled life, and she knew that massage therapy was an excellent way to provide that assistance. Sharon established her early business by treating seniors at the Lolly Hansen Senior Center here in Tracy.

Represent her qualifications honestly, including educational achievements and professional affiliations, and will provide only those services that she is qualified to perform. Accurately inform clients, other health care practitioners, and the public of the scope and limitations of her discipline. Acknowledge the limitations of and contraindications for massage and bodywork and refer clients to appropriate health professionals.
