Description

Hemphill took the knowledge he had learned from years of working with his father-in-law, his passion for the business, and his good ethics and started serving the marketplace. Although Hemphill did not start with a structured business plan, he recognized an opportunity, had the knowledge of the trade, and made a leap of faith. He built his first house and used the profits from it to invest further in the company and slowly started building its capital. The younger years of the company were merely residential construction. From framing homes to remodeling, Hemphill built his business on integrity and quality. He and his wife ran the company from their kitchen table hopeful one day it would take off.

In late 2008 Hemphill Construction began working with Lake Superior Contracting and LaSalle Equity Group. LaSalle Equity Group is a development company for other companies specializing in assisted living centers and long term medical care. The first job Hemphill Construction did for Lake Superior was in Orland Park, IL. The building was a 25,000 square foot project. It was the biggest single project Hemphill ever accomplished. The company rose to the occasion. To date, Hemphill Construction has now completed over 24 assisted living centers for Lake Superior Contracting. As well, Hemphill has begun serving commercial industries by building medical facilities for BMC (Building Materials and Construction Services), Pizza Huts, Panda Expresses, Dental Clinics, Veterinary Clinics, as well as residential construction. The company now operates out of downtown Van, Texas and has over thirty employees that all have a dedication to excellence for those they serve.

Mrs. Gore has been in the commercial construction business and working with Hemphill Construction since July 2011. Candace has been involved in some of the company's most high-profile projects. Working with such clients as Pizza Hut, Panda Express, Taco Bell, Lake Superior Contracting, as well as Autumn Leaves Assisted Living Centers across the country, Gore represents the quality and professionalism Hemphill is known for.
