Description

The Henderson Business Resource Center provides business development expertise to new and growing business in southern Nevada. Although new to the City of Henderson, business incubators worldwide have participated in the establishment and growth of thousands of businesses. Extensive studies have shown that companies supported by incubator programs are more successful, grow faster, and provide more employment opportunities to their communities than businesses who go it alone. Potential tenants can select from variably sized offices that meet current needs and still provide ample space for growth. Offices are furnished and include a sophisticated telephone system, fax connections and separate data T-1 lines. Tenants have access to copy machines, a break room and seminar and conference rooms. Tenancy benefits also include six-month leases, which are renewable up to two years. At the HBRC, local business professionals and experienced faculty provide overviews, insights and in-depth knowledge to tenants and affiliates. Opportunities range from development workshops to one-on-one counseling by SCORE, and Southern Nevada SBDC experts. A computer-equipped training laboratory, staffed by Community College of Southern Nevada faculty, provides both for-credit and non-credit courses to the business community at the Center.
