“These ‘Journey to High Performance' awards show that our staff is dedicated to making a positive patient experience for each individual who receives care at the health center. The awards also are evidence of the hard work and dedication to quality improvement in these departments and throughout our organization. We are pleased to recognize HCHC’s Surgery, Med-Surg and Maternity Services departments with these awards which signify an impressive increase in patient satisfaction.

The board also approved the updated strategic plan for the upcoming year. Each year we update our strategic plan to be reflective of the current environment. Healthcare is so volatile and fluid right now, we are in need of consistently reviewing and updating it as needed to reflect the needs of the health center and our community. Our initiatives will continue to center around our mission and vision statements.

Henry County Health Center's top priority from the Board of Trustees to the front-line Associate is customer service, patient satisfaction, and providing quality care. This philosophy is supported by providing Associates with what they need to provide quality care and a high level of patient satisfaction...and that is an atmosphere of teamwork and camaraderie, state-of-the-art equipment, and the training and tools necessary to succeed in their jobs.

This is a testament to Henry County Health Center’s commitment to our mission to enhance the health of individuals and our communities through high quality, effective and efficient services,” explained HCHC CEO Robb Gardner. “I would like to express my sincere appreciation to our associates, medical staff, board of trustees and volunteers who are committed to delivering personalized, quality care that patients expect and deserve.

As a community-based health center, our patients are often times family members, friends, and neighbors. HCHC’s associates are committed to meeting the needs of our patients, and are truly dedicated to providing the highest possible care. In addition to the compassion and commitment that runs throughout the organization, HCHC has experienced numerous accomplishments. These include receiving the Most Wired Hospital award for five consecutive years, receiving state and national awards, providing innovative technology, and offering advanced specialties and a highly respected medical staff.
