The Herald Group opened the doors in 1893. The Herald Company started out as a printing firm in Dillon South Carolina. Printing many of the Local Newspapers including the Dillon Herald, the Herald name stuck and remains today. Herald Office Systems division started selling office supplies in 1924. The company introduced furniture to the product mix in 1948. Today Herald has eight locations including the new Whiteville, NC location that opened in December of 2006. The other locations are in Dillon, Cheraw, Columbia, Sumter, Florence, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach. We provide a wide area of standard delivery areas as well as nationwide via drop ship. The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Herald as one of the top 100 businesses in SC in 2002. We are the only office products company that made the list.
