Our goals are to provide for those in need and assist those who are working to better their communities.We make financial contributions through Herr Foods Inc. and the J.S. Herr Foundation. The J.S. Herr Foundation – created by and named for our founder, James S. Herr – is a private organization that directs monetary donations to worthy charities.The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.
