He was a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church, the Center Point Civitan, served in the Air National Guard 117th Division from 1969 until his death, was President of Trussville Girls Softball Association and a Vestry Member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church. Before coming to work at Hesco in 1985, Floyd had acquired many years experience in the automotive industry, working for both Tire Engineers & Goodyear. He was here at Hesco for 22 years. He was our service manager but was probably best known for being the "voice" of Hesco since he normally answered the phone in his unique style. Since 1969 Floyd proudly served his country in the Air National Guard. He was a Senior Master Sergeant and medical supervisor, remaining active until his passing February 24, 2007. Floyd was not only an employee and part owner of Hesco, he was part of the family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed by all. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to John Croyle's Big Oak Ranch.
