As a Research Associate, Ms. Herman has extensive experience in the field of education evaluations, both formative and summative. Ms. Herman’s participation in studies have spanned several topical areas including teacher professional development, PK-12 educational materials and resources (text books and online), teacher compensation systems, data-driven decision making, school budget cost analysis, public broadcasting impacts on childhood health, and higher education issues (such as articulation and transfer policies and market assessments).

As the founder of Hezel Associates, Dr. Hezel applies his expertise to all of the company’s projects. He brings 40 years of experience in education, communications, research and consulting. As a high school teacher, public and instructional television producer, university professor, researcher, and evaluator, Dr. Hezel has conducted research and provided consulting for many education organizations.

Our company has contributed to the UnitedWay of Central New York for many years at the corporate level. By creating an employee campaign in 2013, Hezel Associates commited time, money, and resources to provide our employees with an avenue to give back to the community as well.

Online social networking includes much more than Facebook and Twitter. It is any online use of technology to connect people, enable them to collaborate with each other, and form virtual communities.
