** AMERICAN FAMILY ---- Agent in Training. American Family's Agent in Training gives on the job training in preparation for operating an American Family agency. Working under the direction of an Agency Sales Manager, Agents in Training learn the skills to run a successful small business. An AIT solicits, quotes, and binds coverage to help customers manage their unique insurance and financial needs. AITs learn to build and cultivate long-term customer relationships with the goal of providing the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
The Hibbing Area Vocational Technical Institute was established in 1962. It fulfilled a need to provide post-secondary vocational opportunities for high school graduates and miners impacted by the "boom and bust" cycles on the Iron Range. The institution was renamed Hibbing Area Vocational Technical Institute in 1987 and upon merger with its Eveleth sister campus in 1992 was renamed to form Range Technical College.
** ALLETE; Duluth, MN ---- Distribution Service Representative I. Duties include customer service, distribution line design and/or various customer operations as primary role. Plans and reports on activities such as providing new services, information about products and services, energy conservation, and complaint resolution. This position requires a two year technical degree or higher with an emphasis in electricity or four years of directly related experience.
