The new online version of the Worldwide Business Travel Hotel Guide offers the widest selection of hotels in every price category. You can offer clients over 20,000 hotels in 134 countries at more than 50% off rack rates all with guaranteed last room availability. All of the hotels have provided the best rates available and guaranteed to be the lowest in the market. Hickory has negotiated exclusive discounts, and complimentary value added amenities and services to help you offer the best value and service to your clients. The Block Space Program with over 193 participating hotels is a benefit to clients in need of accommodations when the hotel is sold out. These rooms are only available through our Hotel Help Desk and are on a first come, first serve basis. Our enhanced mapping feature - Google Maps - helps determine hotel location, populates surrounding hotels, offers a draggable street map and satellite images as well as driving directions. Google Maps' is available for the following countries: United States, Canada, Brazil, United Kingdom, Japan, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and a number of other countries. The Worldwide Preferred Rate Hotel Program is booked via the GDS using the HFH rate access code. Best Available Rates Best Available Rate (BAR) is referred to in the marketplace as dynamic pricing and is now offered by a number of hotel chains. This flexible pricing structure means that rates change daily according to market conditions and guarantee that no other rate will be lower including unrestricted Internet rates. When BAR rates are indicated in the listing, the rate you will see displayed under the HFH rate code in the GDS is the lowest available unrestricted rate for that day. We have negotiated ceiling rates on BAR to guarantee that the HFH rate will always be lowest available rate even when market demand is high. BAR rates with a discount or value add is offered by some of our preferred partners and is highlighted in the listing. Block Space Program During peak times of the year hotel rooms can be hard to find, especially in major cities. We have reserved room blocks at over 193 properties in 148 cities and 25 countries. Through our Block Space Program, business travelers can frequently secure a room even when a city is sold out. Select hotels have committed to holding a block of rooms for up to 48 hours in advance of 6 p.m. (local time) of the day of arrival exclusively for our customers. Block space may be reserved at the rack, corporate or preferred rate. Block Space rooms can sell out as well as standard hotel rooms.
