Whether you fancy shooting at targets or hunting, the Creosote Flats Archery Range is something you won't want to miss! It's a 3D target range offering 30 targets that simulate hunting. Set in the mesquite covered foothills east of the RV Park, this range offers both challenging range trails and targets. The range is open by reservation only unless you a staying at the ranch. Ranch guests can shoot the 3-D at their leisure for only $2.00 for 30 targets. We also have bag targets for sighting in and warming up before you his the trails on the 3-D course. Bring you own bow and arrows the next time you are traveling through. If you prefer a shotgun for sport instead of a bow, Creosote Flats Sporting Clay Range will fit the bill with sporting fun for the avid hunter or the competitor. 10 stations offer a range of targets to challenge your shot. Join us for one of our monthly fun shoots and you'll shoot great targets and eat a mouth watering lunch from the Coyote Grille. Fun shoots are a monthly event on the second Saturday of the month, except for the month of the NM State Tournament (usually June) and September because that is the month of the National Sporting Clays Tournament in San Antonio. Dates for fun shoots are subject to change without notice. Be sure to call ahead to assure a range time and a trapper. The range is open by reservation for shooting other than fun shoots. Bring your shotgun, shotgun shells, ear and eye protection when joining us for a round of clays.
