About Our Ranch Founded in 1983, High Adventure Ranch is the only hunting preserve of its kind in Missouri. We presently foster nothing but the finest caliber big game animals and presently our herds total nearly 3,000 including Elk, Bison, Red Stag from Yugoslavia, and plenty of our native Whitetail Deer.Our primary hunting season runs from about September 1 to March 31 allowing ample time to fit even the most demanding schedule, but we also have many species that can be hunted year round.We have a shooting range where rifle and hand gun hunters can fine tune their weapon, but we also encourage black powder and bow hunters as they represent the high caliber sport hunter who finds the challenge of hunting on our ranch appealing.
