On the beautiful Chateaugay river in upstate New York lies a welcoming haven for those who are looking for a peaceful, yet full vacation. High Falls Park Campground is dedicated to bringing you the serenity you need while providing you with recreation and modern facilities. Located near Chateaugay, and not far from Malone and Plattsburgh, High Falls Park offers nature trails (with a view of our very own beautiful waterfall!), fishing and cross country skiing, as well as nearby golf, skiing, and boating. Stroll through stores, markets, museums, and antique shops in Chateaugay, Malone, Lake Placid, and Saranac Lake, then come back and enjoy games and dancing to a live band right at the park. The kids will love our pool and playground, while you enjoy quiet campfires with neighboring campers. We have recently doubled the size of our main building, giving ample room to play arcade games, pool, or enjoy some Direct TV in our den area.(on those very infrequent rainy days) We are modem friendly to our cyber campers with an area provided to access your favorite ISP in peace and quiet. The laundry is also a new addition to our main building. Our store and snack bar are well stocked, with an expanding menu, groceries, ice and firewood,which will provide you with a worry-free camping experience.
