The goal of High Sierra Electronics is to design, manufacture, install and maintain precision environmental monitoring systems for hydrological, meteorological, flood warning, flooded roadway warning systems (AFWS) for low water crossings, and Road Weather Information Systems (RWIS) applications. High Sierra Electronics, founded in 1992, provides quality Hydrological Monitoring and Flood Warning equipment, Systems Integration, outstanding service and expert advice for water resource management, weather data collection and prevention of flood damage and loss of life. Our products include sensors, sensor signal conditioning, dataloggers, road ice detection, VHF transmitters and remote telemetry equipment, antennas, breakaway base pole mounted roadway flood warning signs with flashing beacons, standpipe or tower mounted weather stations, MPPT solar charge controllers with load control, test and calibration devices and more. We manufacture and/or provide various relative humidity sensors, tipping bucket rain gauges, temperature sensors, wind sensors, road ice sensors, barometric pressure sensors, pyranometers, stilling wells, shaft encoders, pH sensors, ultrasonic wind sensors, snow depth and visibility sensors. We offer a number of software products including DEC Data Systems DataWise data acquisition and monitoring base station software.
