Jim and Marie Hill moved to Denver in 1958 from Bozeman, Montana. Jim opened the door of what would become the oldest continually operated real estate office in the City of Thornton and began helping families find their home, either through purchasing or renting. As the business grew Jim handled the sales while Marie took care of the property management. Their 3 children, Jay, Matt, and Avalon, earned their pocket money working on the rental properties, cleaning, painting, mowing, etc. Over the past 43 years this office has worked with over 3000 families in the purchase or sales of their homes. Marie passed away in 1995. Jim is still active in the business and their 3 children are still actively involved in running James C. Hill Real Estate.
