In 1981 the Hilltown Community Development Corporation was created to improve the quality of life for Western Massachusetts Hilltown residents by addressing economic, educational and social needs while preserving the rural character of our area.Local participation in--and control and ownership of--the economic development process is crucial to the success of all Hilltown CDC initiatives. As a community-based organization we rely on people from the hilltowns to support our efforts.Please help us to do our work by becoming a Hilltown CDC member. Membership is open to all persons 18 years or older who reside or work in our target area. Annual membership for families is $15, and for businesses, $25. Members help us develop and refine our programs and spread the word about the CDC in the community. Members elect our volunteer Board of Directors.
