Jacob Hinrich founded Hinrich, Incorporated in 1940. Initially, he sold many people their first radio and wired their homes for the first time. Hinrich’s also sold refrigerators and serviced electric motors. As times changed, many families bought their first television set from Hinrich’s. In 1967, under the watchful eye of Jacob’s son Harry, Hinrich’s began selling Carrier heating and cooling products and continues to do so today. In 2004, Hinrich, Incorporated became a subsidiary of Shoemaker Enterprises, Incorporated Despite this change, the demand for high quality products and customer satisfaction has remained.
