HiPoint Technology Services, Inc. is a technology services company that initially started out with the philosophy of bringing the IT benefits reserved for the big corporations to the small and medium sized businesses. We later expanded on that philosophy by extending the IT benefits traditionally reserved for the business world to the home user. The practical aspect of our philosophy is essentially the allignment of smaller groups in such a manner so as to allow them to function as a bigger entity. In the business IT world this means several smaller companies being treated as separate divisions of a larger corporation, all working together to share the overhead associated with an IT Department. In the consumer world it means treating an MDU (multi-dwelling unit) as a large office building, with all the units working together to share the overhead associated with IT services. Suprisingly, we've been able to successfully implement these philosophies into practice with very minimal modifications to traditional approaches. Some manifestations of our efforts are: Satellite IT, MDU Tech Haven Program, and Fiber to the Building.
There is an underlying strategy to our processes that serves as the engine that makes our approach run so effectively, and the mutual benefits to both us and our customers is the key to it's success. That strategy focusses on using proven and well established technologies in very "simple" implementations, resulting in a more stable system that is easy to support and maintain. A true win win!
