Description

Beatriz Sanchez Mrs. Sanchez is currently employed as an account specialist with Metropolitan Community College. She has worked for the Kansas City, Missouri School District for fifteen years. She has been a volunteer for over 20 years serving on various Community organizations and boards. She also served on ex-Mayor Cleaver's Task Force on Race Relations and was a translator for the Empowerment Zone Meetings.

Michael Gonzales Mr. Gonzales has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources with 25 in various management roles. He currently provides HR counsel for the Information Technology, Business Process Management & the SAP Center of Excellence divisions at Hallmark Cards. He currently is a member and former officer for the Hispanic Employee Resource Group (HEART) at Hallmark. Michael also is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBA's (NSHMBA). He currently serves on the education committee for the National Hispanic Corporate Council based in Washington DC.

OUR MISSION The mission of the Hispanic Development Fund is to provide philanthropic support to programs that foster expression of Hispanic culture and improve the quality of life of Hispanic families in the Greater Kansas City area.

Latino KC LatinoKC, a local giving circle, is a group of philanthropic and civic-minded Latinos dedicated to making an impact to the well-being of the Kansas City Hispanic community that leverages the strength and power of a team beyond just the sum of the individuals.
