Historic Denver is one of the nation's largest private, non profit preservation organizations. Projects have included the restoration of the Thomas Hornsby Ferril House; publications on Denver history and architecture, walking tours, neighborhood revitalization; designation of Denver Public Schools and protection of Denver Landmarks.We are a citizen organization whose purpose is to preserve Denver's significant historic fabric, its distinctive architecture and its cultural landscapes which are tangible reflections of our heritage and the foundation of our quality of life. Our responsibility as a non profit corporation is to be a catalyst for and advocate of ideas, programs, actions and plans which enable our community to respect and carry forward the preservation of this heritage.
