May 13, 2010 Health Care Process Improvement (Lean Six Sigma) Blended e-Learning Series New online modules for health care industry with both certification and deployment tracks. Atlanta, Georgia (May 13, 2010) – Today, at the WCBF Lean, Six Sigma and Business Improvement in Healthcare Summit in New Orleans, The Quality Group (TQG) announces a new blended e-Learning series that specifically focuses on the health care industry. As with other TQG blended learning solutions, the Health Care Series features tracks for individuals pursuing yellow, green or black belt certification and end-to-end technologies so that health care organizations can improve the workforce training processes necessary to drive their Lean Six Sigma deployments. According to recent VOC (Voice of Customer) data, lean six sigma learning material for the health care industry must be more inviting, easier to understand and more relevant. TQG, as a leader in blended learning solutions for process improvement since 1992, has responded by assembling and then collaborating with a diverse team of industry experts -- Jennifer Ralston, former deployment leader for American Red Cross Biomedical Services and Kathy Price, current Director of Clinical Effectiveness at Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System plus both Liz Keim and Bob King, long-time industry leaders from GOAL/QPC. Since early 2010, the team has developed health care specific scripts, examples, messages, media and module ordering so as to transform TQG's wide-ranging Lean Six Sigma e-Learning curriculum into a compelling process improvement e-Learning series for health care professionals. "It is widely accepted that our escalating expenditures for health care are unsustainable," states Rob Stewart, TQG's CEO. "With TQG's new health care blended learning series, organizations will be better able to motivate and prepare their workforces to help eliminate waste, reduce variability and increase the productivity of their health care delivery systems." Adds Jennifer, "this new series will make it so much easier for health care people to grasp what you're trying to teach. Organizations that embrace the new model will experience streamlined training time, condensed classroom time, faster results and more wide-ranging impact. I'm all in when it comes to helping my clients more effectively apply these powerful improvement methodologies." The new Health Care Series can be licensed through TQG or its various academic and distribution partners including GOAL/QPC and HKPO. Modular pricing plus both per user and unlimited use subscription models are available.
