He has walked with nature since childhood. His innate skills as a hunter, fisherman, trapper and rancher have been nutured over the years since his birth. He has worked as a hunting guide, outfitter, farrier and rancher. These activities have enhanced his knowledge of the subtleties of animal conformation and behavior. This knowledge in turn has come into play in his sensitive depiction of creatures in bronze along with a feeling only one who lives with the animals and nature on a day-to-day basis can portray.
