David Brown was born in Queens, New York and graduated with an honors BA in Sociology from Ithaca College. He has a baseball autographed by the entire '88 Mets. Unfortunately, the Dodgers beat them that year. In 1998, he moved to Southern California and quickly founded his own lifestyle marketing agency, Holiday Matinee. Combining the tenets of artistic integrity and indie attitude with business savvy, Holiday Matinee was quickly able to carve out a lucrative niche in a variety of media forms including film, television, web, music, fashion and technology.
