Description
aircraft engines. We are currently an F.A.A. certified repair station for Continental, Lycoming, Pratt & Whitney, Warner and Wright radial and Menasco and OX-5 in-line engines. We also have tooling and factory specifications for many other vintage engines and a good working relationship with the F.A.A. Sorry, but we don't offer services for modern opposed engines. All engine components are thoroughly inspected for wear and compliance with factory tolerances. Then components are tested for structural integrity using our own certified MagnaFlux and dye-penetrant equipment When possible, original parts are restored to specifications. If replacement parts are required, we only use top quality, certified parts. We also operate our own complete, on-site CNC machine and welding shop. This valuable asset allows us to restore or manufacture most hard (or impossible) to find engine parts in-house saving you both time and money. Additionally, we can manufacture our own specialty tools, fixtures and custom components when needed. After any overhaul or major repair, all engines are run-in and thoroughly tested on our computerized test fixture which allows us to guarantee that all engines perform properly and to specifications prior to installation. This affordable device allows you to easily check the tension of flying wires from 1/4 to 1/2 inch wire size using a dial or beam torque wrench. To date, we've sold more than 300 of these units to aviation mechanics and enthusiasts worldwide. Click here for details Alan H.
