Description

Holsten Real Estate Development Corporation has been honored as one of the five recipients of the Chicago Architecture Foundation's 2008 Patron of the Year Award. Given to leaders dedicated to commissioning, financing, and executing significant architecture in the Chicago area, we were presented with this award for our rehab of the Hilliard Towers Apartments. These distinctive, honey-combed towers were designed by Bertram Goldberg (also the architect of the Chicago landmark Marina City) and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Holsten Human Capital Development has guided over 600 eligible CHA residents through the screening and selection process for new housing, providing various supportive services and empowerment activities prior to their moves and assitance with moving. As a service provider for over 800 low income households, HHCD provides on-going post-occupancy support to ensure long-term success and growth of our clients.
