Description

Holy Trinity Altar Bread was founded in 1907 by St. Mary's Convent in Kenosha, Wisconsin. When the convent shut down, the apostolate of Holy Trinity Altar Bread was moved to Indiana. Our altar breads are made in the same way today as they were then. Our entire process (mixing the batter, baking, cutting, counting, and packaging each wafer) is done completely by hand. Unlike machine-made bread, ours will arrive securely packaged and very fresh, meaning less breakage and the light, melt-in-your-mouth texture that distinguishes fine, traditional altar breads. Automatic shipments may be scheduled to provide our patrons with a continuous supply of fresh bread, specific to their individual needs. Please call 1-765-475-4970 for more information. Each batch of bread is made prayerfully by workers who are dedicated to serving God and providing His Church with the finest quality altar breads. Our staff is committed to making bread in the canonically prescribed tradition, using only pure water and organic wheat flour. Our patrons help us to continue the tradition of handmade altar bread by supporting the apostolate of Holy Trinity Altar Bread.
