Throughout the year, H.O.M.E. welcomes volunteers for seasonal and ongoing projects as well as one-time volunteer opportunities. H.O.M.E. strongly believes in bridging the generations. We believe that we all have a great deal to offer each other. Our Volunteer Program is looking for people of all ages willing to share their various skills and talents. Many of the older adults we assist have a wealth of wisdom and experience to share with the larger community. Volunteers help us achieve our goals in a number of ways: Activities Assisting Seniors Citywide - You can help low-income senior homeowners prepare their homes for the harsh winter months by sealing their windows. It's easy. No experience is necessary, and we provide the training. -Painting - Small groups are needed to assist senior homeowners by painting rooms in their home. -Cleaning - Low-income senior homeowners occasionally seek our assistance with their yards and house cleaning. Service period is ongoing, as needed.
