Homecrest House

Description

Homecrest House is the result of the commitment by members of National Capital B'nai B'rith Lodges to promote affordable fair housing for senior citizens of limited income. The facility has grown from one apartment building to its present size of three buildings offering two levels of support for seniors and qualifying disabled adults. Our goal is to create a supportive and caring environment which promotes seniors and qualifying disabled adults to live life to its fullest potential. Homecrest House is owned by the community based, non-profit National Capital B'nai B'rith Housing Foundation which is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Support comes from many sources, including the Section 8 program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and various agencies of the State of Maryland and Montgomery County.
