Welcome to the HOMES website! We are an Alameda citizens group dedicated to preserving the values and traditions of Alameda at the Alameda Point redevelopment site. We believe that by offering a variety of housing types in lively, mixed-use neighborhoods, Alameda Point will preserve the historic feel, cultural richness and economic vitality that make Alameda such a wonderful place to live. We believe that including townhomes, condominiums and apartments at Alameda Point will enable those of middle income - young families, seniors, nurses, teachers, fire fighters and police officers - to have a place to call home in Alameda. And we believe that the citizens of Alameda should be involved in the decision-making process.
