Homestead Farms is a small family owned perennial flower nursery located in Owensville, Missouri, about 60 miles west of St. Louis, specializing in field grown daylilies, hostas, peonies & Siberian iris. We are a state inspected mail order nursery shipping to all 50 states (sorry we do not make international shipments). We also welcome walk-up customers during the growing season (for hours and directions, see below).We have been in business since 1987 when we offered 25 select hybrid daylilies. Today we raise over 1200 varieties of daylilies, 350 varieties of hostas, 100 different peony cultivars and about 50 varieties of siberian iris. Our large plants are field grown and dug fresh the same day they are shipped to you. We also offer a nice selection of hardy ferns and clematis in which we receive from quality growers and pass onto you.During the the winter months we hand make unique and beautiful plant markers and birdhouses from Eastern red cedar. We also have a nice selection of gardening books that compliment the plants we have to offer.
