Description

The Homestead Group is a Landscape Collaborative based in Rowley, Massachusetts. The Group consists of Landscaping Architects, Landscape Designers, Irrigation Specialists, Nightlighting Specialists and Stone Masons who have cultivated a working relationship based on a mutual respect of each others' skills. The Collaborative Concept: Designers are able to work together by offering alternative approaches to challenging design situations. Craftsmen from various trades are introduced to the project at an early stage to allow their input with respect to their specialty, to facilitate the progress of projects, and to avoid scheduling conflicts. By working as a group, small-specialized contractors work collectively on larger projects, insuring a higher standard throughout, from design through implementation. The focus is on the end product, a relationship with the client that will grow and develop with the landscape. Over the last 25 years, we have cultivated numerous lasting friendships with clients, a testimony to the people who make up the group.
