Homewood Disposal has been servicing the south suburban area for more than 50 years. A family owned business since 1956, Homewood Disposal has strived to serve surrounding communities with the very best in waste disposal needs as well as customer satisfaction. The company has grown from a small scavenger company to a full range solid waste collection, transportation, recycling, and disposal service company. In addition, Homewood Disposal also provides street sweeping, special waste hauling, curbside recycling, commercial recycling, and a state-of-the-art material recovery facility. Recycling is an important part of the disposal business today and Homewood Disposal is heavily involved with processing more than 95,000 tons annually. Collectively with our sister companies NuWay Disposal, Star Disposal, Tinley Park Disposal, Kankakee Sanitary, A&J Disposal, Diversified Recycling, and At Your Disposal, we now have over 500 employees and a fleet of 200 trucks to service our customers. Recently Homewood Disposal entered into a business partnership with Service Sanitation, Inc., who is Chicagoland's premier portable restroom service provider.
