Franchot 'Buckshot' Tone, yessiree, he was one fine cow chipper. Why I remember back in 1980 when when that little feller was knee high to a tad-pole, and his daddy was a champion cow chipper. Well that little 'Buckshot' came running out and picked up a cow chip the size of his head, woooweee and he just let that sucka' fly. We were all amazed. I reckon that's how he got so good at chicken-picken' on that guitar. And then there's Tony, pickin' on that banjo. Well folks 'round here used to have a nickname for Tony, they'd call him 'Mr. Donkey.' I never quite could reckon what that meant. But I always noticed that the girls would tease him by calling him that, and Charlie Mills, that nice young feller who dresses real proper and runs that unisex hair cuttin' place, he'd call him that too. Anyhows, if I reckon correctly, when Tony was a little tyke he'd be rushin' all about on his two wheeler, and he'd always stop by Hank's barber shop when we was fixin' to watch HeeHaa.
