Hope Chest for Breast Cancer provides financial support to those touched by breast cancer through the sale of upscale furniture, accessories and designer clothing donated by individuals, corporations and small businesses to the Hope Chest Retail Stores. A number of engaging annual fundraising events are also held to benefit The Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Foundation. Foundation grants fund local programs with a focus on issues of importance to the breast health community: providing support for underserved women for early detection education, screening programs, financial assistance while in treatment, hospice care, and breast cancer research. The Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Foundation was founded by Barbara Hensley in 2001.The stores are registered with the State of Minnesota as professional fundraisers.
