Land Use Our Land Use attorneys understand local, state, and federal government agencies and how they work. We have extensive experience in all aspects of land use entitlements, CEQA, NEPA, state and federal species, wetlands, water and air quality regulations, and related litigation, representing developers large and small, as well as individual property owners. Our role is to add value through the efficiency, creativity, and correctness of land use entitlement campaigns, no matter how complex.

Hopkins & Carley provides a comprehensive range of legal services throughout California to banks, finance companies, institutional investors, investment banks, private banking and trust operations, credit unions, brokerage firms, landlords, leasing companies, and other secured and unsecured lenders. In addition, we provide services to businesses of all kinds, including manufacturers or other vendors who deal with debtor parties in ordinary course business or financially troubled transactions.

When a former office assistant accused a multi-state commercial real estate brokerage of sexual harassment, the company sought assistance from Hopkins & Carley in responding to the claim and in forcing its insurer to provide coverage. Working with the board chair and director of HR, we gathered and evaluated the evidence, persuaded the insurer to provide coverage and constructed a strong defense against the discrimination and harassment allegations, resulting in a confidential settlement on favorable terms.

Because our employment lawyers all have extensive experience in the field (none have practiced for less than five years), clients don’t pay for us to learn as we go.
