The Beginning Hoppmann Audio Visual began in 1955 as the communications division of Hoppmann Corporation (now Shibuya Hoppmann). Hoppmann Corporation was founded by Kurt Hoppmann, an entrepreneur with a brilliant engineering mind and a broad thinker with a keen sense of business.Although the core business was in the design and construction of production machinery for the packaging and consumer product markets, Hoppmann Corporation’s successful track record of unsurpassed engineering led to the creation of the communications division for the design and installation of audio visual systems.

Design-Build is a construction project delivery system used to reduce the project delivery time and cost by overlapping the design phase and construction phase of a project. The Design-Build methodology is the same in the audio visual industry.
