The integrated vision, philosophy, and mission of Horizon House meet the desire of residents for independent living and “aging in place.” Our Medical and Dental Clinic, open seven days a week to serve residents, provides a comprehensive spectrum of services to make these goals achievable. Managed by Amy Nguyen, the Clinic specializes in Geriatrics, with an ARNP on duty Monday through Friday. Not only does this provide convenience, but it also ensures our residents receive the highest level of care through constant communication among our entire wellness staff.
Jackie has been professionally involved in marketing and sales for over 20 years. Her background has been in small business development, advertising, sales and PR. She has been involved in the senior industry for over ten years. Prior to joining Horizon House in 2007, she ran the Specialty Leasing Program at Everett Mall; owned a small business as a Licensed Massage Therapist and was Marketing Director at two other retirement communities. Her life's passion is to make a difference in the community and the people she encounters.
An important category of care within Supported Living is Memory Support. This memory care “neighborhood” provides a secured environment with a higher staff ratio for our residents who benefit from such a milieu. We recently renovated our Memory Support neighborhood to provide for more common areas, a state-of-the-art spa, and brighter spaces. Of the 17 new Supported Living apartments, nine will be part of Memory Support.
