Horizon Shipbuilding, Inc. is a small, versatile shipbuilding company located on the southwestern coast of Alabama about 30 miles from the port of Mobile. The company designs and constructs ships, boats, and barges up to 250' in length and 1500 tons launch weight. Our target and proven customer base includes the offshore oil industry, cruise and diving industry, tug and barge operators, and specialized craft for the United States and foreign governments. The diversity in our design and construction capabilities is evidenced in our delivered and in-progress products. These include a variety of off-shore workboats, tugs, fishing vessels, aluminum crew boats, security and patrol boats, and specialty craft of fiberglass composites.
