Horizons Residential Care Center is a private not for profit organization providing utmost dignity, respect, compassionate care and quality services appropriate to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Horizons Residential Care Center is a private, non-profit program providing comprehensive interdisciplinary services for persons with developmental disabilities. The Forsyth County Health Planning Council unanimously endorsed the development of Horizons, which has continued as a major services partner in our community's efforts to provide the continuum of services needed by our citizens with special needs. Today, Horizons provides comprehensive habilitation and special education services to children and adults in two residential settings and provides center-based respite care services to the families of our community.
