HTK Structural Engineers has been providing Structural Design Services since it's inception in August of 1991. We pride ourselves in our dedication to our clients, by our outstanding service, cost effective and thorough designs, and complete construction document preparation. Principals of the firm, Rich Horowitz, and Rick Taylor, began the company after working in unison for nine years in the Structural Department of SB&O, Inc. of San Diego. Rich began working for SB&O in 1977, and was Vice President and head of the Structural Department. Rick joined him at SB&O, Inc. in 1983 and quickly became a Project Engineer and a valuable asset to the efficient operation of the department. Both Rich and Rick have previous design experience with other firms prior to joining forces at SB&O, Inc. Helmand Kushkaki, a licensed structural engineer, became a principal in 2001 after seven years with Horowitz Taylor Engineering. He has been providing structural design services since 1991. HTK Structural Engineers design team comprises over 30 continuous years of structural design experience in Southern California. The firm services clients, and is licensed in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Idaho, Oregon, Illinois, Montana, Oklahoma, Texas, State of Washington, Wyoming and Virginia.
